I think it's safe to say that hand sanitiser was definitely one of the most sought after products in 2020 (and for good reason), and while it certainly ranks highly for functionality, it's not always the most pleasant product to use. So, if you're like us here at TLSE and TOTALLY over the smell, feel and drying effects of most hand sanitisers, we might just have your dream product under our sleeves.

esst (a nod to the word 'essential'), is a newly formulated hand sanitiser made with all-natural ingredients designed to utilise the naturally occurring antibacterial properties. Unlike regular hand sanitisers, esst is a hand sanitiser and cream rolled into one - so you can keep your hands moisturised and smelling nice while keeping them clean. With macadamia oil, white cypress leaf oil, Nerolina oil, honey myrtle, sandalwood, silver citrate and shea butter (the list goes on), this sanitising moisturiser really is a game changer - and we can confirm it smells as good as good as it feels.

Founded by Emma Davis - a Melbourne based makeup artist - the cream champions natural Aussie essential oils that are 100% pure, natural and traceable botanics. esst is underpinned by three pillars: traceability, sustainability and staff empowerment - three things we can definitely get behind here at TLSE.

“As a makeup artist, I found my hands were constantly drying out and had a constant whiff of chemicals, due to the hand sanitiser I used in between each client consultation. I recognised the real need for a hand cream which could tackle germs whilst promoting the natural conditioning of our skin. The idea for esst was born. I’m proud to say it’s taken 4 years to develop the magic formula you see here today,” explains Emma.

Eager to develop a product dedicated to promoting the benefits of natural ingredients, esst packaging is produced using sugar cane, and is FDA approved for direct food contact (need we say more?). Made right here in NSW, the facility responsible for the tube production features one of the largest privately-owned solar farms in the country, and on top of this, customers are able to send tubes back to the team to be professionally recycled (to say we love this brand is an understatement).

So, if you're in the market for an ethical, vegan, cruelty-free, sanitising hand moisturiser that smells and feels good, look no further. With locally sources ingredients, this is definitely a must have as far as we're concerned.
